This Standard establishes a uniform method for determining the moisture content of tobacco lamina, midribor stalk materials at various stages of growth, harvest or curing. These techniques should be used and referencedin all technical presentations where moisture content determination is a factor. Deviation from these methodsshould be reported.
Specifying sampling procedures is not within the scope of this Standard. It is assumed that representativesamples are collected for analysis.
